| Job Advert | Ackermans has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Systems Administrator. This position will be a Fixed-Term Contract ending 15 February 2024). The role entails being responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all financial systems in order to have accurate, valid & complete financial data. The successful candidate will report directly to the System Analyst and will be part of a structured Finance team. |
| Qualifications | Essential: A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric Preferred: Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree) in Finance or Information systems. |
| Knowledge, Skills and Experience | KNOWLEDGE required: Knowledge of GL account structures and systems (Masterdata) Knowledge of Information systems and basic accounting Proficiency in the latest M365 packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint & Outlook) is essential SKILLS required: A strong systems orientation together with good numeracy skills, financial acumen and the ability to apply financial principles to solve issues effectively. High levels of drive and initiative and the ability to work to deadlines and deal effectively with numerous issues and priorities. A structured work approach, be accurate and thorough with excellent attention to detail. Good time management skills and the ability to cope with pressure EXPERIENCE required: Essential: 2 years experience in SAP systems administration. Experience in SAP Masterdata Management module Preferred: Exposure in the retail industry and previous Financial Systems administration experience. |
| Key Responsibilities | Provide first line of support for all Finance System users Systems administration: perform user password re-set Procurement: Cancel purchase orders Assist users with system navigation queries SAP user onboarding / role amendments (Gather information, Complete CoE form, Log Solman incident, action in SAP) To manage and maintain SAP Masterdata: Debtors & Suppliers Cost centres and profit centres (Gather information, Complete CoE form, Log Solman incident, action in SAP) GL accounts (Gather information, Complete CoE form & log a Solman incident for CoE Team to action on SAP) New Merchandise Categories (Gather information, Complete the CoE form & log a Solman incident for CoE Team to assist) SAP Procurement approval group requests Finnivo: Create and maintain User profiles GL accounts Cost centres Finnivo: Monthly activities Update default month Share the rent reports to Pepkor properties before and after accruals TravelIT / WeExpense Create and maintain User profiles GL accounts Cost centres Password resets User queries ukusa: weekly closure WS02 finance interface – Stand in support for Fin Systems Analyst To execute the various SAP modules monthly & financial year-end close off, including the roll over to the new financial year To broadcast Finance Systems User Communication (Monthly deadlines, year-end, systems maintenance communication) |
