The City of Johannesburg Municipality has a new internship programme for young South African graduates to take part in, apply as soon as possible.
Location: Johannesburg
Stipend: Qualification achieved with min 360 credits): R9 043,21 pm (Basic Salary, no benefits) (Enrolled as a student): R3 500,00 pm (Basic salary, no benefits)
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Community Development Department has the following Internship probability on hand for a duration NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.
Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF degree four plus National Diploma in Public Management (NQF stage 6) or Degree in Public Management (NQF degree 7); OR
- Grade 12/NQF stage four plus Diploma or Degree in Librarianship, ICT, Information Science or Management, Knowledge Management, Archives and Records Management, Communication and Public Management;
- Confirmation Letter from Institution if enrolled as student;
- City of Joburg residents will be considered.
LEADING COMPETENCIES:
- Computer literacy which include MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- High stage of confidentiality and organisational skills;
- Emotionally stable;
- Time Management, working independently, below pressure, and potential to prioritise.
- Sound numerical ability.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Good time administration skills;
- Creative problem-solving and negotiation skills;
- Good multi-tasking skills;
- Collaborative/Teamwork, Values and Integrity, Attention to detail, and quality-focused;
