The purpose of the role is to provide new and existing clients with professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products (sales) that are suited to their needs and requirements. Undertake the procurement of sustainable business of a high quality, in accordance with the business targets set. Maintain and service these clients as part of a long- term relationship which builds loyalty to the brand and generates ongoing advice and sales. Undertake these activities within a compliant and ethical manner which results in the building and sustaining the Sanlam business and brand.
Responsibilities
- Market orientated prospecting to analyse clients’ financial needs.
- Rendering detailed advice and an effective service.
- Marketing of relevant Sanlam products.
- Sales and after-care service.
- Maintenance of client relationships.
Experience and qualification
- Proven track record as a successful financial adviser / intermediary within the relevant industry / sector
- Minimum: Grade 12
- Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) “fit and proper” requirements
- Preferred: relevant degree or 3-year commercial or marketing diploma or Financial industry related qualifications (e.g., CFP)
- Regulatory Examination successfully completed if registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for more than 24 months
- Computer literate and preferably experienced in financial industry systems
- Valid drivers license and Own vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Salary: R10,000.00 – R40,000.00 per month
