Training Facilitator With Health & Safety Knowledge

Introduction

We are looking for a Training Facilitator who has a background of Health and Safety and who is capable of handling first aid situation within a manufacturing environment. The person needs to understand SETA reporting and requirements. Experience in completing WSP/ATR through the SETA Fasset would be beneficial as well as designing and presenting training material on topics throughout the manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Experience Required

• General knowledge of regulatory environment for Skills Development
• Knowledge of processes
• Knowledge of the SETA framework and requirements
• First Aid experience level 2 at a minimum
• Experience presenting training material trainees and taking the time to ensure that at the end of the session, everyone understands the topic
• Ability to design training material once a problem has been identified in the factory.

Requirements

• Must have a Drivers licence,
• Needs to be efficient in MS PowerPoint to create training material
• Must be able to set up and maintain a training matrix
• Be able to deal with injuries of a serious nature.
• Be able to work shifts (when required). There are some weekends you may be required to work the night shift when the factory shuts down to ensure injuries at prevented.
• Good record keeping and register experience to be able to report on trainings completed.
• Be pro-active in identifying training needs on the factory floor.
• Be certified as a facilitator (being registered as an assessor or moderator will be an added advantage)
• Be able to assist the Safety Officer with regards to any H&S matters which might arise from time to time.
• Must have strong administration skills and intermediate level of Microsoft word, outlook and powerpoint.
• Good people skills a must.
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must live close to Centurion as the factory is based in Sundelandrige.
