National Education and Training Manager – Nursing – Talent Match Consulting

Introduction

The National Education Manager is responsible for providing leadership in driving an education and training culture that includes a strong research and scholarship focus in the group’s clinical, academic and management areas. The Manager will ensure the continuous development of nursing programmes to promote the growth and sustainability of the nursing profession within the organisation

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive the successful implementation of the Group’s education and training strategy. Promote the quality and standard of nursing care through sustained nurse competence and scholarship.
• –  Establish an evidence based culture that promotes contemporary patient care practices.
• –  Establish The Hospital Group’s College as a reputable higher education institution whose graduates are recognised for their high standard of nursing care.
• –  Promote the integration of theory and practice through seamless interface between education and clinical practice.
• –  Ensure the sustainability of the College through effective and efficient financial management.
• –  Work collaboratively to develop College income generating streams in healthcare and related sectors.
• –  Ensure the continued efficient functionality of the College through effective monitoring systems.
• –  Establish and Implement a long term strategy for the continued growth and viability of the College.
• –  Ensure effective systems in place for well organised processes and functions.
• –  Ensure effective marketing and community engagement strategy implemented to promote the college as a sought after higher education institution in the community.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum Masters’ degree in Nursing.
• –  Degree/diploma in Nursing Education.
• –  Degree/diploma in Nursing Administration.
• –  Computer literacy includes Microsoft Office.
• –  5+ years experience in nursing education.
• –  At least 3 years experience in education management.
• –  Experience in curriculum development and accreditation (advantage).
